I’m on a run streak! Since the
start of July, I have ran everyday! I’m pretty chuffed with my 34 day run streak; my previous run streak was 8 days.
Every now and again my fitness will plateau. It
sometimes goes backwards as well. I decided to introduce a number of challenges and new workouts:
Run every day of July.
Add strides to the end of my easy runs.
Add variety to my weekly track run.
Do two to three quality runs a week.
Mission accomplished! I’ve also reached a new fitness level.

Last Saturday I was privileged to meet HRH Prince Harry!
I was distraught to read that there has been a
fatal shark attack at Muriwai Beach. I know that shark attacks happen all around the world, but it’s always different when it’s closer to home. Although I don’t swim out west, or know the victim (who was training for an ocean swim), I am saddened by the news.
